Ski & Ride: The Coloring Book was created by Sylvie Mayer, a painter and illustrator from Rhode Island. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. She loves skiing and learned on a tiny hill in South County, Rhode Island - a 10 minute drive away from the beach. Since, she has spent time skiing various East Coast mountains, namely in New Hampshire. She lived and worked in Aspen, Colorado, skiing as many days as she could manage. This coloring book is inspired by her varied ski adventures. It is dedicated to her late father, Bill Mayer, an avid and stylish skier.
